If you wish to become involved in aid work to Africa or other places, there are many sites on the internet that can help you learn all about the many options and activities open to you.

You may want to be involved by donation or by becoming a monthly donor. Your assistance will provide change to the life of a child in Africa.

You may wish to become involved hands on by heading overseas on a mission trip.

Drop by to one of our society meetings the first Wednesday of each month from September through June. Meetings are held at 7:15 p.m. at Lochside school (library) , 1145 Royal Oak Drive, Victoria, B.C. Team visits to Tanzania generally take place in October.

For the Love of Africa does not raise funds to send our team to Africa. We pay for our travel and accommodation ourselves. This is worth remembering if you are considering mission type work for the first time - it is a time commitment and significant financial commitment - even if the rewards you receive are worth every minute and every penny. Check with the organization that interests you regarding this particular aspect before signing up to be part of a team!
