There are currently seven directors and 42 ordinary members.

3. Does the society plan to be involved in other African countries and elsewhere?
Yes, but our initial projects are focused on Tanzania - partly because of Government stability and our previous experience there.

4. Can I email my own questions directly?
Yes, please click the contact feature on our webpages and you will be taken directly to the email page.

5. Will I receive a charitable receipt for my donation?
YES – FOR THE LOVE OF AFRICA SOCIETY is a registered charity and is therefore able to provide you with a charitable receipt for income tax purposes. We are operating on a basis of 95% of all Direct Donations to FTLOA going to the project under way.

7. What types of volunteer activities are available?
You are able to assist us in various ways:
a) By letting friends and family know about the society and requesting they become donors.
b) By assisting with donations to fundraising
c) By helping to gather school or medical supplies for shipment to the projects
d) By sharing your own past experiences of aid or mission trips
e) By helping us translate documents from English to Swahili and vice versa
